Still amazing after all these years!
"Even now, 20+ years after I first saw Mystic Pizza, their songs sound as strong as ever. Their big hits, known by everyone from age 10-60, include Shout, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Head Over Heels, Mad World, and Sowing the Seeds of Love. Their songs have held up extremely well over the long haul and are really timeless.
This was the 5th or 6th time I've been able to see them in concert, and I'll continue to do so at every opportunity until they retire, which I hope won't be anytime soon.
The venue was the only downside. As much as I love outdoor concerts and the zoo, they just weren't organized enough in terms of seating arrangements. People were crammed in anywhere and everywhere, with no designated walkways or specific areas for blankets vs chairs (including regular sports/camping chairs). It was completely haphazard, and there weren't any good seats unless you paid extra for the special section in front. It was disappointing not to be able to see the band well at all.
However, I would still see Mystic Pizza anywhere they chose to play!"
